Job Summary
Develop and administer Supply Management and Corporate data to identify reporting opportunities and address informational needs for internal clients. Collaborate with Supply Management Analysts and business users to analyze requirements, ensure data health, and design Tableau analytics solutions that transform data into actionable insights. Perform data mining and modeling to support the creation of Business Intelligence reports and visualizations for operational and strategic decision-making. This 5-day work term in Calgary runs from January or May 2027, with competitive compensation and opportunities to join the Intern Social Committee.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in your 3rd or 4th year of an undergraduate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Computer Science (CS), Information Systems (IS), Management of Information System (MIS), Engineering, Statistics, or Data Analytics
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office applications, in particular Excel and PowerPoint
- High competency in communication (verbal and written)
- Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Basic knowledge of Data Modeling
- Basic knowledge of SQL or Python programming
- Familiarity with agents, deep learning models or machine learning
- I.S. technical competency to the extent of assisting in the interpretation and implementation of new business functionalities
- All candidates applying to Canadian Natural must have legal authorization to work in Canada with no restrictions
- Shift schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off, 8 hours/day (Monday - Friday)
- Term lengths: 8 months or 12 months
- Term starts: January 2027 or May 2027
