Supply Chain Analyst

Job Summary
Procure chemical materials, manage purchase orders in MAS, and process inventory transactions to maintain uninterrupted plant operations. Monitor supplier order status, track product lead times, and coordinate alternative sourcing when necessary. Maintain accurate inventory records through physical counts and cycle counts while generating operational reports using SAP and Ariba. Serve as the primary contact for delivery schedules and quality concerns, resolving supply chain issues across customer, supplier, and internal teams. Complete GHS labeling and ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Business, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant supply chain, purchasing, inventory management, or chemical industry experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience supporting chemical distribution or chemical supply chain operations is preferred
- Knowledge of procurement, inventory control, and supply chain best practices
- Experience working with chemical products and hazardous materials
- Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with technical, operational, and administrative personnel
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical, administrative, and data management skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, MAS, or similar business systems
- Strong customer service, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues while meeting deadlines
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout large industrial facilities
- Ability to safely navigate manufacturing environments and concrete walking surfaces
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
