Supply Chain Analyst, Marketplace Operations
$71,000–$85,000 year
On-siteChatsworth, California, United States
Job Summary
Own product availability, fulfillment performance, and compliance across Amazon, Walmart, Target, eBay, Macy's, and Lowe's by finding and driving resolution to operational breaks. Manage day-to-day operations on these channels, track supply against demand by SKU, and preemptively provide actionable recommendations to procurement and logistics teams to improve in-stock rates and service levels. Investigate and resolve SLA misses, chargeback risks, and carrier exceptions end-to-end while building dashboards tracking fill rate, OTIF, and return rates. Document standard operating procedures and workflows to create lasting organizational knowledge, proactively spot inefficiencies, and lead initiatives to improve automation and operational scalability. Partner with pricing, master data, merchandising, and logistics teams to align channel strategies with business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on Amazon experience (Seller Central, Vendor Central, or both)
- Exposure to multi-channel retail (big-box, department store, or marketplace)
- Demonstrated ability to document business processes, SOPs, or workflows in a clear, structured format
- Strong written and verbal communication skills — comfortable presenting findings to cross-functional stakeholders
- Proficiency in SQL and/or Excel; experience building your own analysis from scratch
- Experience with BI tools — you build dashboards, not just read them
- Familiarity with retailer compliance requirements (routing guides, ASNs, chargebacks)
- Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds at times
- Occasional travel based on business needs
Desired Qualifications
- Home improvement retail experience
- ERP or WMS exposure (NetSuite, SAP, Manhattan)
- Experience onboarding a new retail channel from scratch
- Demand forecasting experience
- Background in a high-growth or resource-constrained environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- 4–6 years of experience in supply chain, marketplace operations, or e-commerce — preferably in specialty retail or consumer goods
