Job Summary
Mid-level Supply Base Management Specialist for Boeing Global Services (BGS) in the Government Supply Chain Strategy/Category Management team. Location options: Dallas, TX or Plano, TX. Responsible for leading supply chain category management across materials/standards (e.g., Raw Materials, Castings/Forgings), developing and managing strategic supplier relationships, informing sourcing activities (RFI/RFP/RFQ), negotiating agreements, and conducting capability and capacity assessments. Applies best practices to drive projects across functional and geographic boundaries, with a track record of delivering business impact. Requires 6+ years of related work experience, 4+ years in Supply Chain, 2+ years in risk identification/mitigation, cross-functional collaboration, problem solving, and strategic decision making; travel approximately 10-20%.
