Supply and Trading Analyst

Job Summary
Supply & Trading Analyst applies quantitative analysis to pricing, margins, inventory positions, and supplier performance; generates market intelligence and supports pricing, forecasting, and contract analysis. The role collaborates with internal teams to ensure data integrity across gasoline, diesel, ethanol, and biodiesel markets, maintains trading models and databases, assists with deal entry, trade confirmations, settlements, and month-end processes, and prepares market commentary and ad hoc analysis for stakeholders. The position requires a detail-oriented, analytical candidate comfortable with market data, risk management, and cross-functional coordination in a fast-paced energy trading environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field from an accredited four year college or university
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience preferred (energy markets, logistics, sales, customer service, or analyst roles)
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with Power BI and energy trading systems (e.g., RightAngle) preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage tasks, prioritize workload, and maintain strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team oriented environment
