Supply and Demand Planning Analyst

Job Summary
Oversee supply and demand planning software to manage inventory levels across warehouses and strategically plan orders aligned with future forecasts. Monitor forecast accuracy for demand and transit times, then develop Excel or BI reports to track KPIs including cycle stock, safety stock, fill rates, and inventory turns. Manage purchase and transfer orders from scheduling to delivery, escalating issues to ensure timely inventory receipt. Collaborate with sales teams to incorporate new business opportunities into demand planning and support ad-hoc projects using SQL and Tableau. Report in-person Tuesday through Thursday with a hybrid schedule, supporting continuous improvement of departmental KPIs in a cross-functional environment.
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management/Procurement or equivalent
- Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills
- proficient in MS Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Strong data analytical skills
- Strong mathematical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to report in-person Tuesday through Thursday
- Must be able to telework on Monday and Friday each week
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with MS Dynamics AX, Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP system
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to lead and influence internal stakeholders
- Strong skills with Database and Business Intelligence tools
- Proficiency particularly in Access/SQL and Tableau
- Experience in CPG or Food & Beverage
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, flexible, team environment
- Cross-functional relationship building
