Job Summary
Supplier Relations Specialist responsible for managing supplier partnerships and product supply for assigned vendors and lines. Key duties include maintaining supplier/customer communications, monitoring orders via SAP, updating inventories and processing changes, launching SAP reports (demand, shipping preview, un-invoiced orders), sourcing product availability to meet customer needs, and supporting special projects. Requires 3-5 years in customer service/operations/vendor relations, associate or equivalent experience in business or horticulture, proficiency with Excel/Outlook/Word, SAP knowledge preferred, and strong relationship-building and problem-solving abilities. Must be able to work independently within team goals and handle multiple priorities; physical requirements include sitting/standing for up to 100% of the day and up to 80% hands/fingers use. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of customer service, operations or vendor relations experience required
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in business or horticulture preferred
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Intermediate to advanced level experience in Excel, Outlook and Word required; knowledge of SAP system preferred
- Ability to manage, plan, and organize time effectively to meet customer demands
- Proven ability to work independently and perform work in accordance with team, departmental and company goals
- Problem-solving and independent decision-making skills are required
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships
- Ability to build strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions
- Ability to know the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Ability to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
- Ability to make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems
- Physical Requirements: sit/stand up to 100% of the day
- Hourly Pay Range: $20-$22
