Job Summary
Supplier Quality Specialist (Starlink) role focused on managing tactical supplier quality activities within SpaceX's Supply Chain, including non-conformance management (SDR, MRB, RTV, CAPA), supplier data analysis, cross-functional collaboration to reduce vendor defects, and development of policies and documentation to sustain supplier quality improvements. Requires hands-on quality background, ability to communicate status to management, and capacity to rapidly acquire new technical knowledge related to purchased components and assemblies within rocket and spacecraft systems.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 2+ years of experience in an engineering, supply chain, manufacturing or quality field
- Experience in leading improvement projects in manufacturing or quality related processes
- Working knowledge of machining, manufacturing and quality processes
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or supply chain (preferred)
- Good written, oral, and presentation skills
- Experience reading engineering drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience with AS9100 or similar quality management system standard
- Previous experience working with suppliers, corrective/preventive action systems, supplier portals
- Experience with MS Excel, SQL, process flow mapping, warehouse management systems, lean production environments, six sigma training

- ITAR requirements: U.S. citizenship or national, U.S. permanent resident (green card holder), refugee or asylee eligibility, or ability to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
