Job Summary
Supplier Quality Representative (QA) responsible for overseeing supplier quality across procurement and fabrication, ensuring compliance with nuclear quality requirements including surveillance, material acceptance, and first-of-a-kind components. Responsibilities include implementing supplier surveillance and material acceptance plans, preparing and issuing surveillance reports, collaborating to resolve technical and quality issues, auditing nuclear quality programs, promoting safety culture, and performing shop visits with witness/hold points. Requires experience with NRC and DOE regulatory environments, NQA-1 requirements, and knowledge of industry codes (ASME, ASNT, AWS, AISC, ASTM, EPRI, NEI, ISO, IEEE). Travel is required (0-10%). The role emphasizes cross-functional partnership with Supply Chain to meet project milestones, along with adherence to safety and human performance tools. Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in a technical discipline, business, management, or quality assurance field.
- 10+ years’ experience in a nuclear (NRC, DOE) Supplier Quality function.
- QA experience in NRC 10 CFR 50, Appendix B regulated environment.
- Current Lead Auditor certification preferred or ability to become a Lead Auditor.
- Experience with industry codes, standards and guides such as ASME, ASNT, AWS, AISC, ASTM, EPRI, NEI, ISO and IEEE is strongly desired.
- Willingness to travel
