Job Summary
Supplier Quality & Product Assurance Liaison responsible for monitoring supplier action plans, priorities, and milestone progress; verifying proper execution of work instructions, processes, and procedures on the production floor; maintaining configuration control and documentation accuracy throughout the product lifecycle; ensuring inspections and testing confirm compliance with standards; driving timely Data Pack delivery and closure of supplier nonconformity reports with corrective/preventive actions; identifying discrepancies between customer requirements and supplier inspection criteria; tracking and validating corrective actions and repair/rework documentation; ensuring product requirements are applied across design, qualification, manufacturing, and testing phases at the supplier site; verifying compliance with applicable quality requirements for procured items; supporting supplier QMS development per ISO9001/EN9001/AS9001 standards (including configuration/document control, QMS maturity, process adherence, NRB/CAPA activities); supporting industrialization by identifying and mitigating production risks; requires extensive QA/ supplier quality background in aerospace/high‐reliability industries and ability to travel to supplier locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Technology, Aerospace, or related technical discipline
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, supplier quality, manufacturing engineering, or product assurance—preferably within the aerospace or high‐reliability industries
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and applicable aerospace standards, including ISO 9001, EN 9100 / AS 9100
- Hands-on experience with configuration management, documentation and change control, process audits and process maturity assessments
- Root cause analysis and corrective action (5-Why, 8D, Ishikawa)
- Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, work instructions, specifications, and inspection criteria
- Experience conducting or supporting product inspections, qualification and acceptance testing, nonconformity management (NCR, NRB, CAPA activities)
- Demonstrated ability to work onsite with suppliers and influence their quality performance through guidance, oversight, and continuous improvement methods
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production line workflows
- Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to interface between suppliers and internal customer quality teams
- Ability to travel as needed to supplier locations
