Supplier Quality Manager

Job Summary
Supplier Quality Manager responsible for leading supplier evaluation, development, and PPAP coordination with Commodity and Project teams. Manages supplier quality performance at Hutchinson’s Planta de Mangueras, conducts system/process audits per IATF 16949 and ISO14001 requirements, and drives containment, corrective actions, and preventive controls. Key duties include supplier qualification and audits (IATF/VDA 6.3), risk analysis, KPI administration (IVALUA), 5S participation, and ensuring adherence to Hutchinson’s quality and environmental manuals, with travel as needed. Requires advanced problem-solving (8D, QRQC, FTA), APQP process mastery, GD&T interpretation, control plans, SPC/PFMEA, leadership in supplier development, and strong communication in a global automotive context.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree (Ingeniería)
- 6+ years of experience in a similar role
- Fluent in English
- Availability to travel
- Visa and passport valid
