Supplier Quality Management Specialist

Develop and improve the Vertiv product supplier base through quality system and product process audits. Maintain working relationships with suppliers to ensure highest quality of purchased components, establish quality targets for cost and warranty reduction, and request PPAP documents. Lead cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions, visit customers to document installation needs, and evaluate new suppliers via on-site audits. Create analytic reporting around warranty data using Excel, SQL, and Power BI, and develop 8D reports on reported issues. Execute Quality Engineering responsibilities on New Product Development projects, ensuring risk management plans are in place. Present reports on quality performance and status updates to business management.
