Job Summary
Develop and apply quality standards to inspect, test, and evaluate the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment. Design methods and procedures for testing, preparing documentation, and analyzing operational data to determine the disposition of non-compliant products. Recommend corrective actions for procedural, product, or process deficiencies while reducing qualification cycle time and cost. Participate in audits and utilize statistical tools such as 5Y, Fishbone, and PFMEA to solve complex quality issues. This role requires a full-time schedule with 20% travel and is based in Gloucester, MA.
Required Qualifications
- Well versed in common tools used by quality to identify, analyze and apply effective corrective actions to quality issues
- Tools such as 5Y, Fishbone, is - is not, process mapping, PFMEA, DOE, or other statistical problem solving tools
- Knowledge of TPS (Lean Manufacturing)
- 20% of the Time travel
- Relocation Eligible: Yes
