Supplier Quality Engineer - Technical Specialist

Job Summary
Build strong relationships with external suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to improve quality and business outcomes. Coach and mentor professionals on soft skills, APQP execution, and auditing effectiveness to develop effective partnerships. Provide manufacturing consultation to external suppliers to design Right First Time processes that conformance to engineering prints and customer requirements. Apply industry common Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processes, Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) tools, and Cummins specialty tools to develop zero defect components. Lead complex product and process focused projects utilizing lean and six-sigma methodologies to embrace continuous improvement. Conduct external supplier audits to support risk mitigation, readiness, and performance improvement while ensuring resolution of complex quality challenges through root cause analysis and corrective action verification.
