Job Summary
Lead rapid resolution of supplier-caused issues impacting the factory by analyzing non-conformance data, developing action plans, and ensuring robust root-cause analysis and corrective solutions are fully implemented. Investigate supplied material issues to verify accuracy of nonconformances, assist with quarantine and containment of suspect defective hardware, and communicate part impacts to suppliers and stakeholders. Utilize analytical capabilities and communications skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams on systemic drivers. Requires a Bachelor's degree in STEM, two years of related experience, and the ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance prior to start. Onsite role in Tucson, AZ with a salary range of $68,900 to $131,100.
Required Qualifications
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- Two (2) years of experience in related Quality, Operations, Engineering or related technical discipline
- Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action processes
- Experience with hardware inspection techniques and interpreting engineering drawings
Desired Qualifications
- Existing DoD Secret Clearance
- Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management System
- Proven success in building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams
- High computer proficiency, including skills working with SAP/ PRISM and Microsoft Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Six Sigma, Lean and / or American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification (CQE, CQM/OE, CSQE, CQA, CRE, etc.)
- Experience in DoD product and process oversight including requirements, build, integration, test and delivery
