Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Summary
Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of materials and components from suppliers. Lead supplier audits (remote and on-site), drive RCCA-based corrective actions, support product launches and engineering changes, and maintain quality records. Collaborate with Purchasing and Engineering during supplier selection and onboarding; ensure compliance with quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100); develop sampling plans and inspection criteria; monitor supplier performance via KPIs (PPM, OTD, NCRs); support documentation and regulatory requirements; travel 25-50% for on-site assessments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or another related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in a quality engineering or supplier quality role within a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies
- Experience working with manufacturing defects (non-conformances) and mitigating them through RCCA
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- 25-50% Travel required
