Job Summary
Supplier Quality Engineer responsible for auditing and qualifying suppliers, developing audit plans, monitoring supplier performance (LRR/VLRR), providing quality coaching, managing IQC defects, leading PPAP and SQA activities, maintaining supplier quality documentation, and ensuring 5S and site safety; requires knowledge of IATF16949/ISO9000, experience in electroplating/machining/metal powder forming, strong cross-functional communication, and willingness to travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering or Science (Chemistry or Polymer preferred)
- Strong knowledge of supplier audit processes with extensive supplier management experience
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as electroplating, machining, and metal powder mixing and forming
- Solid understanding of IATF 16949 and ISO 9000 quality management systems
- Self-motivated with the ability to set goals independently, manage time effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong cross-functional communication skills and ability to work under pressure
- Willingness to travel on short notice
- Good command of English and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
