Supplier Quality Engineer I

Supplier Quality Engineer I will act as the quality technical contact for selected suppliers, drive supplier quality initiatives, risk mitigation, and participate in supplier quality projects. Responsibilities include ensuring supplier compliance to quality system regulations, ensuring reliable quality of supplier-provided direct material and services, collaborating with supplier engineering, design engineering and quality inspection to establish and control required supplier quality processes, representing QA on Engineering Change Orders and MRBs, gathering and reporting supplier quality metrics, supporting supplier audits and internal/external quality audits, investigating nonconformities with root-cause analysis and implementing effective corrective/preventive actions, assisting in qualifying new suppliers, supporting supplier evaluation for new vendors, maintaining the Approved Supplier List (ASL) and related documentation, and aiding in the creation of supplier scorecards. Desired qualifications include MBA or MS, strong initiative, teamwork, communication, and proficiency with tools like SAP and Microsoft Office; Lean and GMP knowledge are beneficial.
