Job Summary

Drive supplier performance and support product launches by partnering with suppliers, manufacturing, and engineering teams to ensure consistent delivery of quality marine products. Resolve supplier-related quality issues impacting production through containment, inspection, and remediation activities while evaluating root cause analyses using 8D, A3, and 5-Why methodologies. Lead APQP activities and review PPAP submissions to mitigate risks during new product introductions, conducting audits and developing improvement plans to address performance gaps. Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements, maintain quality records, and analyze data to identify improvement opportunities. This role requires occasional travel up to 30% to supplier facilities and is based in Fond du Lac, WI.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
  • 3+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, or a related technical environment
  • Experience with APQP, PPAP, Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Actions, and Quality Systems
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, and project management skills
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams
  • Visa Sponsorship: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States
  • Travel Required: Occasional; 30%

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in marine, automotive, powersports, aerospace, heavy equipment, industrial manufacturing, or engine component manufacturing
  • Experience conducting supplier audits and supplier development activities
  • Knowledge of SPC, DOE, capability analysis, and statistical methods
  • Experience with aluminum casting, machining, forging, molding, or assembly processes
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or similar certification
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
