Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Summary
Participate in supplier development activities, interact with suppliers to implement corrective actions, and lead on-site audits to evaluate prototypes. Develop and maintain quality plans that translate customer requirements into activities, while performing analyses of program requirements to prepare responsive procedures and resource allocations. Review engineering and contractor documentation, execute workmanship improvement plans, and establish programs to evaluate the precision of production and testing facilities. Generate statistical reports on inspection activities and results, recommend actions as required, and consider financial impacts of quality process controls. This hybrid role requires up to 40% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field
- Minimum of 2 years of quality experience
- Experienced with ISO Standards
- Experienced with Six Sigma tools
- Experienced with statistics
- Ability to understand military specifications
- Ability to read blueprints
- Excellent interpersonal skills
