Job Summary
Conduct technical risk assessments of proposed Statements of Work and supplier options across product, process, and program life-cycle dimensions. Evaluate supplier capabilities including quality systems, process controls, and corrective actions to determine fit for work movement. Define acceptance criteria, validate sourcing quality requirements, and coordinate with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Supplier Quality Representatives to execute assessment plans and go/no-go recommendations. Track risk metrics, readiness status, and quality performance during transitions while proposing continuous improvement actions. Perform onsite and virtual audits to ensure compliance with Boeing Quality Management System and AS9100 standards. Work under general direction in Everett, Washington, primarily first shift.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working with quality systems (e.g., Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001), Aerospace Standard (AS9100))
- 3+ years of experience working with Quality and/or Safety Corrective Action/Preventive Action, Root Cause Corrective Action
- Experience with systems engineering practices (requirements definition, risk identification and management, fault tree generation, FMECA, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree or higher in an ABET accredited course of study in engineering, computer science or related field
- Must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
- Subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met
Desired Qualifications
- Level 4: 10+ years of combined higher education and/or related work experience
- 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of producibility and process improvement methodologies (e.g., statistical process control (SPC), Six-Sigma)
- Ability to present technical findings to various levels of leadership
- Experience in work movement, source selection, transfer planning, or supplier onboarding
