Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Summary
Support supplier quality assurance activities for purchased parts, materials, and assemblies by reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and quality documentation. Assist in incoming inspection, verify Certificates of Conformance, and participate in First Article Inspection (FAI) activities per AS9102 requirements. Monitor supplier quality performance, conduct root cause analysis using tools like 5 Why and Fishbone Diagrams, and work with suppliers to resolve non-conformances and implement corrective actions. Maintain quality documentation and inspection reports while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Occasional travel to supplier facilities may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering
- Fresher to 1 year of relevant experience
Desired Qualifications
- Internship or project experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, aerospace, automotive, or supplier quality is preferred
- Basic understanding of AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
- Familiarity with engineering drawings and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Internship, project work, or participation in quality-related activities within aerospace, manufacturing, or engineering environments will be considered a plus
- Strong interest in developing a career in Supplier Quality and Aerospace Manufacturing
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in a dynamic engineering environment
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
