Supplier Performance Specialist

Job Summary
Identify, analyze, and develop project plans, actions, and metrics for performance improvement projects with key suppliers. Perform value stream mapping, apply Lean techniques like SIPOC, and forecast consolidation to optimize lot size and stocking programs. Regularly interact with suppliers and materials management to eliminate non-value add activities, assess supplier capabilities, and resolve quality issues with assigned SQE. Participate in planning on-time delivery and lead time reduction projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams across cultural boundaries. Requires 5+ years of relevant experience, up to 25% travel including international, and is an exempt position for U.S. persons only.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Technical, Business or other related field OR 4 years industry experience in lieu of degree
- 5 + years of Purchasing, Materials, Engineering, Logistics or Manufacturing (exempt position) experience
- Experience in Purchasing, Materials, Engineering, Logistics or Manufacturing (exempt position)
- Technically proficient to collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, Materials, Supply / Demand Management as well as all levels within the supplier's organization
- Must be able to optimally connect with senior leadership and other cross functional teams across cultural/geographical boundaries
- Ability to travel up to 25% travel, including international travel
