Job Summary
Lead visits at key supplier sites to analyze performance issues, coordinate improvement strategies including PO alignment and quality system enhancements, and conduct thorough onsite capacity reviews to establish clear action plans. Expedite all critical parts to clear roadblocks and ensure zero disruption to the production line while working with suppliers to establish back-to-PO plans through harmonized lines of balance. Drive execution of supplier performance improvement plans, align with internal stakeholders to prepare mandates for supplier intervention, and regularly follow up on progress and closure of action plans. Coordinate your own work travel plans, including reservations, expense claims, and financial reviews, while managing improvement activities and providing regular feedback to relevant stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations management or equivalent experience
- minimum of ten (10) years experience
- ready to travel up to 70% of the time
- strong manufacturing and production knowledge and experience
- experience working with sub-tiers
- extremely independent and able to work with new supplier with minimal information
- experience in project planning and coordination involving several sectors
- expert level computer skills in MS Power point, Excel and Word
- ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize
- strong sense of ethics and are customer focused
- good analytical, planning, problem solving and interpersonal skills
- operational and financial management knowledge
- understand the business relationship & dynamics between the Supplier and Bombardier
- strong communication skills and good knowledge of BA system
- fluent in English (spoken and written)
