Supplier Excellence Engineer (m/f/x)*

Job Summary
As a Supplier Excellence Engineer, you will drive and lead the implementation of Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) and execute supplier transfers. Your responsibilities include partnering with suppliers to evaluate materials and processes, managing supplier base reductions and consolidations, and ensuring validation and qualification in collaboration with quality and manufacturing teams. You will leverage project and change management skills to drive continuous improvements and implement lean methodologies for cost reductions. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Material Science, Chemistry, or Engineering and eight years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Material Science, Chemistry, or Engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start)
- Eight (8) years of Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering experience
Desired Qualifications
- Masters degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited institution
- Demonstrated experience working in Design Engineering and R&D
- Experience implementing significant improvements or establishing procurement industry best practices across functional areas
- Strong track record of driving operational improvements (e.g. cost savings) to support the business strategy
- Familiarity with VAVE tools and processes
- Familiarity with Solventum CMP process
- Familiarity with supplier transfer processes
- Familiarity with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
- Excellent Program Management skills
- Excellent communication skills across various organizational levels
- Excellent negotiation skills and proven success working under pressure while driving projects to closure
