Job Summary
Milacron Supplier Development Professional — Specialist focused on supplier quality and development across regional facilities. Leads supplier performance improvement initiatives, applies quality tools (FAI, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, 8Ds, A3s), evaluates supplier capability, and ensures quality and reliability from the supply base. Serves as liaison among engineering, procurement, quality and production; drives continuous improvement, supplier training, and on-time delivery improvements; supports global category strategy. Travel up to 50%; in-person role in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
Required Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in a technical or supply chain related discipline or equivalent with minimum 4 years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Shop Operations, Materials or Sourcing
- 5+ years of experience in Supplier Development, Manufacturing Quality or Supplier Quality Engineering in a manufacturing environment or comparable work experience
- Understanding of GD&T
- Experience in Casting, Machining and Machined Components preferred
- Experience in facilitating change and working with cross functional teams including engineering and manufacturing
- Experience in a high-mix low-volume global business is desired
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and compliance auditing experience
- Experience in using structured problem solving to drive quality issues to closure
- Proficient English communication skills
