Job Summary
Supplier Development Engineer to drive end-to-end process development for precision joining, dispensing, and inspection technologies at contract manufacturers, including equipment bring-up, DOE, IQ/OQ/PQ, and PPAP; lead ultrasonic welding, hot plate and vibration welding, TIM dispensing, AOI system development, and process capability across environmental and material variations; ensure robust, high-volume manufacturing for Starlink hardware, with onsite work in Bastrop, TX and travel up to 30% for production ramps and supplier qualification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, materials science, or other engineering discipline
- 1+ years of experience in precision joining, dispensing, and automated inspection process development for consumer electronics or complex hardware
