Job Summary
Lead capacity planning for GE Vernova's post-investment casting value stream by partnering with strategic suppliers and cross-functional teams to develop a multi-year capacity roadmap. Drive capacity ramp-ups, remove bottlenecks, and implement action plans focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. Establish operational rhythms to ensure timely milestone completion, monitor progress weekly, and report status to leadership. Collaborate with engineering, quality, materials management, and supplier teams to ensure on-time part qualification, process revisions, and asset establishment, with frequent on-site supplier engagement. Travel up to ~50% to support capacity actions and supplier programs; leverage Lean and strong program-management skills to execute in a matrixed environment and drive value-stream improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5-10 years' experience in operations leadership or program management
- Minimum of 5-10 years' experience with machining of industrial turbine components (Conventional & Non-Conventional Machining, Coatings, Braze, Laser Weld Assembly)
- Willingness and ability to travel at least 50%
