Job Summary
Align and implement commodity strategies while managing supplier agreements that structure business relationships with the supply base. Engage with the PLC process to ensure alignment with these strategies and handle new supplier introductions or disengagements. Support resolution of systemic supply chain issues affecting quality, cost, delivery, or lead time. This role requires conceptual expertise in your discipline, market awareness, and the ability to solve complex problems while building consensus across teams. You will act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and lead small projects with manageable risks.
Required Qualifications
- Functional Knowledge: Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines
- Business Expertise: Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
