Job Summary
Provide medical and surgical supplemental services within an assigned clinic at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center, an ACS Verified Level 1 trauma facility admitting approximately 2700 patients annually. Manage trauma evaluations, emergency general surgery consults, and surgical intensive care unit coverage. Utilize the DaVinci Xi robot for elective general surgery components and support the busy ECMO service, with pathways available for credentialed ECMO provision. Operate under a schedule with 24/7 surgical resident and APP coverage, requiring BC/BE status in General Surgery and a completed Surgical Critical Care fellowship.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Active ATLS certification
- Must be able to demonstrate surgical skills expected in a level 1 trauma facility
- Must be BC/BE in General surgery
- Must have completed a Surgical Critical Care fellowship
- Must be able to obtain Oregon licensure prior to employment
