Job Summary
Provide direct medical care and consultation for patients admitted to Legacy Rehabilitation Institute of Oregon, serving as Attending Physician on the inpatient rehabilitation service. Deliver comprehensive treatment plans and coordinate multidisciplinary care with nurses and therapists to maximize functional outcomes. Manage patient transfers between clinical units and the Rehabilitation Service while responding promptly to referral sources with evaluation and suggested plans of care. Offer telephone consultative services for injuries and disabilities requiring rehabilitation. Provide twenty-four-hour coverage, including weekends, with potential weekday shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of four-year U.S. Medical School or equivalent
- Satisfactory completion of an accredited residency or fellowship in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Board eligible/certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the applicable state
- Active member in good standing of Hospital Medical Staff
- BLS for Provider certification from the American Heart Association minimally required (ACLS may substitute for BLS)
