Job Summary
Lead an interdisciplinary outpatient Substance Use Disorder clinic for Veterans as Supervisory Psychiatrist. Deliver comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evidence-based treatment, including medication-assisted treatment, while supervising and mentoring psychiatry professionals, supporting residency/fellowship programs, and collaborating with academic partners. Manage documentation and contribute to teaching and research within a teaching environment, partnering with a diverse care team (psychologists, social workers, addiction therapists, nurses) and engaging with opportunities at UCLA Geffen School of Medicine. This full-time, on-site role involves clinical leadership, program development (opioid treatment and intensive outpatient programs), and a commitment to high-quality, recovery-focused care for Veterans with complex co-occurring disorders.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent (allopathic or osteopathic)
- Current, full, and unrestricted medical license
- Completion of residency in an accredited core specialty (psychiatry)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
