Job Summary
Lead hourly associates in the manufacturing and processing of food products across Production, Sanitation, Maintenance, and Quality departments. Maintain employee safety through training and rule enforcement, while driving departmental efficiencies and maximizing productivity. Monitor inventory levels, yields, and machinery to minimize downtime, ensuring product quality meets customer demands. Control labor costs by managing staffing and overtime, and maintain sound working relationships with bargaining unit employees through effective communication and teamwork. Report one hour prior to shifts for start-up duties and stay post-shift for necessary paperwork. Requires two years of experience in business management, food production, or manufacturing, with availability for overtime and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Combination of 2 years of education, training and/or work experience related to business management, food production, manufacturing processes or related field
- Availability to work OT/weekends
- Supervisors are expected to report one hour prior to their shift for start-up duties and be available to stay after the end of the shift to complete any necessary reports and/or paperwork
- Work Authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
- Two years' experience supervising in a production environment
