Supervisor - Yard/Feed

Job Summary
Lead the yard and feed department by completing sales objectives, conducting performance reviews, and training new hires on selling techniques and merchandising. Provide product knowledge to customers, assist with specialized merchandise orders, and manage receiving, display, and floor maintenance in accordance with store policies. Handle routine telephone inquiries and participate in inventory cycle activities while operating material handling tools like forklifts. Resolve difficult customer service issues and maintain safe merchandise storage. Requires previous supervisory experience, retail floor sales knowledge, and ability to stand and lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications

- Knowledge of retail floor sales techniques
- Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures
- Ability to sort, check, count, and verify numbers
- Ability to resolve difficult or stressful customer service issues
- Demonstrated teamwork
- Ability to work majority of shift standing
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
