Job Summary

Oversee a team of workers' compensation claims professionals to drive performance, accountability, and exceptional customer service across multiple jurisdictions including AZ, CO, UT, NV, NM, TX, OK, MO, KS, FL, GA, NC, and SC. Ensure high-level claims handling compliance with regulatory guidelines, internal best practices, and timeliness while conducting quality assurance reviews and coaching staff. Lead claims adjusters and administrative staff, develop succession planning, and partner with regional leaders to balance workloads and optimize workflows. Investigate administrative problems, introduce process improvements to enhance efficiency, and represent the division in organizational projects. Manage organizational change and collaborate with multi-functional teams to achieve shared business objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • BS/BA college degree
  • 8+ years of Workers Compensation claims adjusting experience
  • prior supervisory experience
  • 3+ years claims leadership experience
  • in depth knowledge workers' compensation laws and regulations in some, or all of our core states; AZ, CO, UT, NV, NM, TX, OK, MO, KS, FL, GA, NC, SC
  • willingness to learn and obtain jurisdictional licensure as needed
  • Knowledge of Department of Insurance (DOI), NCCI, State rules and regulations
  • Ability to manage organizational change
  • Ability to interact collaboratively and work effectively with a multi-functional team and throughout the organization
  • Prior successful customer service orientation
  • effective problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired Qualifications

  • BS/BA college degree preferred
  • The knowledge and skill levels acquired through undergraduate level studies especially in the areas of business administration, finance or marketing
  • The ideal candidate will also have willingness to learn and obtain jurisdictional licensure as needed
  • Occasional travel is required for client and broker interaction, team collaboration, training, company events, and other business needs
