Job Summary
Manage warehouse activities including receipt, storage, management, distribution, and shipment of GMP materials while collaborating cross-functionally to meet production schedules. Oversee daily operations between Warehouse, Raw Material Sampling, Weigh & Dispense, Manufacturing, and Quality Control; maintain SOPs, lead cycle counts, and ensure full GMP compliance for inspection readiness. Administer company policies, coach direct reports, and address performance gaps or employee concerns. Lead cycle counts for inventory accuracy and manage Powered Industrial Truck operations and safety. Support 24/7 facility operations with a safety-first mindset, completing monthly Gemba walks and reporting safety concerns.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma with 6+ years of experience
- Associate's degree with 4+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience
- Experience leading, and developing people
- Experience in GMP warehouse operations
- Equivalent military experience
- Ability to collaborate with all departments at a site and global level
- Strong communication skills for status updates, escalations to management, and highlighting risks
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills in addition to project management capabilities
- Advanced understanding of GMP, inspection requirements, safety, and Warehouse operations
- Ability to coach, lead, and develop individual contributors
- Ability to effectively present information to others
- Must be flexible to support 24/7 manufacturing facility
- Ability to ascend or descend ladders, scaffolding, ramps, etc.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to conduct activities using repetitive motions that include wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Ability to conduct work that includes moving objects up to 33 pounds
- Ability to bend, push or pull, reach to retrieve materials from 18" to 60" in height, and use twisting motions
- Will work in environment which may necessitate respiratory protection
- Will work in environment operating a motor vehicle or Powered Industrial Truck
- Will work in outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind
