Job Summary
Oversee a warehouse shift by directing a team of Associates in receiving, warehousing, and shipping activities; supervise efficient unloading, stacking, picking, and staging of shipments while ensuring accuracy and damage-free inbound/outbound goods. Maintain cross-shift communication, ensure safe operation of materials handling equipment, enforce safety policies, investigate accidents per OSHA and MSDS standards, uphold food safety practices, conduct shift meetings, plan schedules, assign duties, and maintain records such as time, wages, daily receipts, and inspections; evaluate employee performance and prepare appraisals.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- 3+ years supervisory or warehouse experience; or successful completion of Americold’s internship program; or a bachelor’s degree
