Job Summary
Oversee manufacturing operations for clinical trial labeling, production, translation, and regulatory support in a GMP-regulated environment. Guide and develop a team of 10-20 operators while promoting continuous improvement using Lean/PPI methodologies to enhance productivity and quality. Manage production planning, scheduling, and workflow optimization, leading investigations, CAPAs, and change controls as needed. Work the third shift (11:00pm - 07:30am) with a 15% shift differential, adhering to safety standards and wearing required PPE. Requires a Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years in manufacturing and 2+ years in leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing operations
- 2+ years in leadership role required
- Certifications in Lean/Six Sigma methodologies highly preferred
- Experience in GMP, ISO or regulated manufacturing environment required
- Experience leading and developing effective teams
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Expertise in production planning, scheduling and workflow optimization
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive process improvements
- Experience with quality systems, SOPs, and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and schedules as needed
- Physical ability to perform manufacturing floor activities and cleanroom operations
- Experience leading investigations, CAPAs and change controls preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and build consensus
- Experience implementing standard work and 5S practices
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future, without sponsorship
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, which includes a drug screening
- Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
- Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
- Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)
