Job Summary
Direct and coordinate dedicated delivery operations at the distribution center, including supervision of delivery drivers, route management, DOT and Hazardous Material compliance, and fleet maintenance. Leads, directs, and trains the driver team while coaching and developing associates through route evaluations. Ensures consistent adherence to safety, hazmat, and company policies, and manages routes to optimize cost efficiency. Oversees routine vehicle inspections and maintains proper records. Requires a BS/BA in a related discipline and 5+ years of experience, with certification preferred. Typically located at one of 44 distribution centers across North America, supporting MRO customers with localized jobsite delivery and direct-ship options.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA in a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in a related field
- May require certification
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes
- Ability to make repetitive movements, such as using a 10-key or calculator, bending, or squatting
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time
