Job Summary
Supervise and deliver advisory services in customs and global trade for middle-market clients. Lead day-to-day engagement delivery, coordinate scoping, planning and tracking against budgets, and supervise junior team members. Advise on U.S. and multinational customs, tariff and trade compliance matters; identify duty-saving opportunities, tariff mitigation, and supply chain optimization; assist with CBP inquiries, audits, disclosures and post-entry adjustments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to development of tools and scalable offerings, and participate in client-facing insights and webinars. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, international trade, supply chain or related field and a minimum of four years of experience in customs, international trade or global trade advisory. Strong analytical, research and problem-solving abilities, excellent written and verbal communication, and willingness to travel. Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree and trade-related certifications; familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and FTAs (e.g., USMCA). Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, international trade, supply chain or related field
- Minimum four years of experience in customs, international trade or global trade advisory
- Working knowledge of U.S. import/export regulations (CBP)
- Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, international trade, supply chain or related field
- Licensed Customs Broker or other trade-related certifications (e.g., CUSECO)
- Advanced degree (MA/MS, MBA, JD, LLM or similar)
