Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day tissue recovery operations, ensuring compliance with EBAA Medical Standards and organizational policies. Perform approximately 50% of scheduled work time as a clinical recovery technician while maintaining competency and serving as a resource for Recovery Technicians. Develop monthly technician schedules, coordinate staffing adjustments, and manage supply inventory to support operational readiness. Act as the first point of escalation for technician questions and operational issues, communicating significant concerns to the Recovery Operations Manager. Provide field-based coaching, onboarding support, and competency assessments to foster employee development and continuous improvement. Monitor recovery workflow, case progression, and documentation quality while reinforcing SOPs and best practices. Participate in the Administrator On Call rotation and assist with technician interviews and partner education as assigned. Maintain professional knowledge through workshops and networking to advance treatments and cures for blindness.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of tissue recovery or comparable clinical experience
- Experience providing technician training, coaching, or operational leadership
- Strong leadership, communication, coaching, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interact professionally with peers, healthcare professionals, and external partners
- Working knowledge of EBAA medical standards
- Working knowledge of FDA regulations
- Working knowledge of tissue recovery operations
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Working knowledge of operational software
- Valid driver's license
- Use of personal vehicle

- Undergraduate studies in healthcare, biological sciences, leadership, business, or a related field
