Job Summary
Manage and control Contractor employees at a 1:20 ratio while serving as the single point of contact for personnel and the government liaison. Receive daily work assignments during roll call and assign tasks to staff within 15 minutes of shift start. Supervise maintenance, installation, repairs, and service requests while ensuring all Work Control Documents comply with technical orders and directives. Perform Production Acceptance Certification (PAC) program duties, including certifying employee requirements and validating certifications in the system. Lead daily production meetings, roll calls, and tail team sessions while training staff on safety practices, chemical handling, and equipment use. Conduct regular property safety inspections and correct unsafe conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Clearance
- Must have or be able to obtain a Public Trust
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years' related maintenance experience
- Proven ability to supervise and lead a large team
- Extensive experience with troubleshooting and resolving complex technical problems
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Leadership experience in a supervisory or management role
- Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for certain periods throughout the day
- Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands
- Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to read dials/gauges, identify small objects and hand tools
- Must be able to see imperfections, micrometer readings and other small scales
- Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear
- Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth
- Must be able to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, fork lift, APU, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree or higher
- Aircraft depot maintenance management experience
