Supervisor Telecom Construction Underground

Job Summary
Oversees and leads underground telecom construction crews to install, maintain, and/or repair telecommunications equipment, ensuring safety, timeliness, and accuracy in daily production goals. Manages day-to-day activities, guides execution, and ensures compliance with deliverables, safety policies, OSHA/DOT requirements, and project-specific standards. Interfaces with customers and internal teams, coordinates invoicing with management, identifies and mitigates risks, develops response plans, and supports staffing, training, and performance management with Human Resources. Strong emphasis on leadership, problem solving, and clear communication to ensure high-quality results and safe operations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in telecommunications or utility construction
- Proven leadership experience guiding employees to produce high quality results and teamwork
- Any combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates ability to perform the designated job duties and responsibilities of the position
- Ability to read, understand and interpret documents such as safety rules, machine manuals and process procedures
- Ability to write reports and speak effectively to customers, coworkers and vendors
