Job Summary
Supervisor Telecom Construction Underground who oversees and leads underground telecommunications crews to ensure installation, maintenance, and/or repair work is completed safely, timely, and accurately. Responsibilities include supervising day-to-day activities, coordinating with management on invoicing, enforcing safety policies (OSHA, DOT, and project-specific requirements), conducting accident investigations, communicating with employees, contractors, vendors, and customers, identifying risks, developing response plans, ensuring policy compliance, staffing, training, and performance management with HR support, and interfacing with customers to discuss needs and goals. Requires at least 18, US work authorization, background check and drug screening, valid driver’s license, and telecommunications/utility construction experience along with demonstrated leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Able to pass a background check and company drug screening
- Valid State driver's license (not provisional) with acceptable driving record
- Experience in telecommunications or utility construction
- Proven leadership experience guiding employees to produce high quality results and teamwork
- Any combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
