Job Summary
Supervisor Telecom Construction Underground oversees 2–4 crews of crew leaders/foremen, coordinating daily production, safety, and quality within a superintendent’s structure. Responsibilities include leading crews to meet production goals, maintaining production records, coordinating pre-construction meetings, ensuring compliance with safety policies (OSHA, DOT), conducting accident investigations, attending safety and training sessions, interfacing with customers and city inspectors, managing staffing/training with HR, requisitioning materials, and maintaining fleet and equipment in a safe, ready state. Requires strong leadership, ability to communicate with customers, and ability to manage safety and production across field and office environments. The role is safety sensitive and involves field work with potential exposure to weather, lifting, and driving responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in telecommunications or utility construction.
- Proven leadership experience guiding employees to produce high quality results and teamwork.
- Any combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates ability to perform the designated job duties and responsibilities of the position.
- Must be able to pass a background check and company drug screening.
- Must be able to attend and pass all company required training as needed.
- Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
