Job Summary
Prepare and manage the Group's Canadian corporate income tax returns, support U.S. and International Tax Consultants on Non-Canadian returns, and prepare global tax provisions. Oversee Indirect Tax Returns, conduct tax research on Canadian and U.S. implications of new legislation, and participate in developing internal corporate tax compliance processes. Coordinate with tax authorities regarding audits, assessments, and adjustment requests while ensuring compliance through internal controls. Provide timely support to internal stakeholders, assume a supervisory role over assigned processes, and assist in tax due diligence engagements for mergers and acquisitions. Maintain up-to-date tax documentation and internal policies. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Taxation or Accounting, a CPA designation, and 3 to 5 years of relevant taxation experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Taxation, Accounting, Management, or Business Administration
- Professional accounting designation (CPA)
- Solid foundation in Canadian Corporate taxation
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in taxation
