Job Summary
Supervisor overseeing the day-to-day operations of assigned programs within TASC’s Corrections and Community Reentry Services. Provides addiction intervention, AODA counseling, and recovery support to clients and their families; conducts court appearances and provides expert testimony; performs home visits and assessments; prepares reports; reviews staff performance; guides staff in crisis situations; and directly services alcohol- and drug-dependent clients as needed. The ideal candidate possesses a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, CADC eligibility within two years, proficiency in Microsoft Office, group facilitation experience, knowledge of ASAM criteria and DSM-V related to substance use disorders, and the ability to work effectively in a correctional setting with individuals convicted of serious offenses. Strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills are required. The role emphasizes supervision, program operations, collaboration with administrators, and service delivery across the agency’s behavioral health and reentry initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- CADC certification within two years of employment with TASC (may be required based on contractual obligations)
- Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
- Demonstrated experience in group facilitation
- Knowledge of the current ASAM placement criteria, DSM-V as it relates to substance-related disorders, and Code of Ethics for substance abuse professionals
- Comfort working inside a correctional setting and with persons convicted of serious violent offenses
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
