Supervisor - Substance Use Mobile Resource (76872)

Job Summary

Manage the Substance Use Mobile Resource program by overseeing venue-based testing, outreach, and linkage-to-care work while implementing harm reduction programming. Coordinate with department leadership and City of New Orleans agencies to ensure long-term goals are met and grant deliverables are submitted accurately. Supervise staff from hire to exit, develop productivity metrics, and manage grant budgets through supply ordering and invoice approvals. Create work schedules to ensure coverage, maintain daily logs and rapid test lab supplies, and conduct data collection for reporting to funders. Collaborate with community partners to promote HIV, HCV, and PrEP services, with non-traditional hours required for field implementation.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Management, or similar field
  • Five (5) years' relevant professional experience (community based public health, non-profit management, city/state government, research, working with populations who inject drugs, and/or other comparable experience)
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Management, or similar field
  • Seven (7) years' relevant professional experience (community based public health, non-profit management, city/state government, research, working with populations who inject drugs, and/or other comparable experience)
  • High School Diploma and Ten (10) years' relevant professional experience (community based public health, non-profit management, city/state government, research, working with populations who inject drugs, and/or other comparable experience)
  • Two (2) years' relevant experience in grant management or public health program management directly related to people who inject drugs or unhoused populations
  • Two (2) years' relevant experience in implementing remote, community-based public health programming
  • Two (2) years' experience in direct supervisory experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Management, or similar field preferred
