Job Summary
Supervisor of Study Services to lead in vivo oncology studies in mice, directly manage staff and the Study Services Team, coordinate with cross-functional groups, review and assign study protocols, train and mentor staff, lead daily/weekly meetings, improve procedures, author and edit SOPs, may act as lead technician on studies, perform in-life technical procedures and animal care, record data in LIMS, and ensure compliance with animal welfare and regulatory standards. Requires a BS/MS in biology or pharmacology (or 5+ years related experience), at least 1 year supervisory experience, and familiarity with AAALAC/CLIA guidelines. Role includes weekend/holiday rotations and collaboration across projects.
Required Qualifications
- BS/MS degree in biology, pharmacology, or related field, or minimum of 5 years of related experience
- At least 1 year supervisory or management experience
- AALAS certification preferred (LAT or preferably LATG)
