Supervisor, Structures Technician - Second Shift

Job Summary
Lead a technician team in completing all mechanical assembly processes for barrels, domes, and thrust structure hardware, including precision drilling, fastener installation (hiloks), and structural bonding. Drive production schedules, establish process standards, mentor technicians through performance reviews and 1:1s, communicate progress to upper management, and lead hiring initiatives to grow the team. Foster an inclusive, honest, and accountable culture while collaborating with engineering, quality, and production control to ensure quality and meet Terran R production targets on the second shift (3:00 PM–1:30 AM PST). Must have 3+ years aerospace manufacturing leadership, 3+ years in structural assembly, and 3+ years in rigging/crane operations; lift-director capable; strong cross-functional collaboration. Nice-to-haves include proficiency with Microsoft Office and Smartsheets.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in aerospace manufacturing leadership experience at or above the supervisor level
- 3+ years experience in structural assembly; including skills such as precision drilling, hilok installation, and structural bonding
- 3+ years experience with rigging and crane operations with the ability to act as a lift director
- Experience partnering with cross functional team such as manufacturing engineering, quality, and production control
- Self starter with a demonstrated ability to take full ownership of the production areas under their span of control
- Previous track record of helping scale work centers and production processes
